Hand Printing Onto Natural forms

To link in with my research on Anasazi Rock Art, I wanted to go out into a natural environment in order to print on the sort of materials that the Puebloan people did.

Below are the photographs I took whilst undertaking this task. I am interested in the different outcomes and qualities of my hand print on the different textures. I'm hoping to possibly use one of these photographs to print off on a larger scale and to accompany my thumb print etching.

When out doing my prints I acquired rocks and other materials that I can use to print on and include as an element of 3D in my print project.

I am excited about the different avenues my project has taken so far, allowing me to explore not only print but photography and 3D as well. I plan to also do some manipulation of my photography to experiment with the various effects I can create digitally.
